X 19 performance suggestions

I bought a x 19 last summer and had alot of fun with it the first couple weeks untill my girlfriend wrecked it all up. I need a whole new body kit and i want to buy a bigger engine. I have been looking at the gpx 160cc and heard it will bolt right on has anyone ever done this before. Does anyone has any other suggestions besides never letting a girl ride you bike ever again. I would like to get it to do at least 60 without straining the engine.

do you have any of the basic performance parts(air filter, sprocket, exhaust)?......and a 160cc engine could do atleast 75-80mph no problem

Dude to get that size motor to fit keep in mind you'll have to Cut, Chop, Rebuilt. Really it's not a big deal. It took me maybe and hour. The motor bolts in to the motor mounts no problem but it longer and the head is a lot wider.

Re: X 19 performance suggestions

probably the fornt down tubes on the frame. and if you just want to do 60, all you need is a 22mm carb, foam filter, ngk plug and plug wire, and a 32 tooth rear sprket. that will set you a little past 60. throw in a bbk thats a hell of alot cheaper then a 160cc, and you can get about 64-67 mph easy.

Re: X 19 performance suggestions

i used to cruise a 57 all day with the stock 110 with just a carb, foam filter, exhasut, and a 28 tooth sproket. works wonders. and make sure to regear so your rpm's will be lower.
