x-6 4 stroke owners Question

Hi all I am in the proces of fabing up some fiber glass body panels .Im tired or the cheep plastic ones .they crack and well any one with one knows all about it .So the Q is would ant one be intrested in a set ?couse wile im makeing the the molds I can easyly wip out more .The mold is the hard part.Also I make rear stands fore them .If yall want them just let me know.The stand will be about 30.00 and the body about 80 to 100.00 per set im not sure of the cost yet.Or time to make them .Im also looking in to X-12 body work also .I also make extended swing arms fort the X -6 I have a jig allready.The cost would be about 145.00 plus material or custom orders and lengths as a new or modified jig will be needed.

Can you fab the tail section of the X6 to look like the new Gixxer If so how much because I know what you mean by them cracking all the time.

Would be nice having a 3 peice.....race upper (no headlight hole), lower and tail section......i'm in favor of replicating the current tail (me likes)...

As you know, the 2 piece lower can be a pita....especially with the h-ware at the belly :cry :laughing

Q the extended swing arm, will this be steel or boxed alum?

I do suggest bracing for the experienced racer.

Stands: wat about a front wheel stand or selling them as a set (front & rear)?

Well I guess that it a good idea.as far as the tail gos I guess i could but it would take some thinking and practes as i dont think that any one let me use theres fore a mold .lol. As fore the stands i can make them fore the front but ihavent needed one yet.So i didnt see the need.The swing arm is steel dont worry its plenty stong.it has zero flex.no wheel hop and tracks sweet.The weight of the swing arn is nominaml.as it is unsprug weight.(Dosent afect handling)Well let me know.if you want a front stand .and some glass.

Hi all I have been looking @ the bike and thought I would change up a little bit.maybe round the edges and more aero.Just a thoght what yall think .Oh i can make the swing armes nadaprob.but i need to know if useing stock tires.ime useing perelli the good stuff.Ican also get the tires if yu wnt.let me know.and i will take orders and we can arange some payment .call me if intrested 310 480-1366.As fore the stands same goes.but i will need measure ments as i cant use mine couse im useing bigger tyres and modified swing arm here are some picks of my son and his bike.

fwiw.....a f/g tail section would be a popular buy for the fact that the OEM tail does crack/break at the upper rear mount......I've witnessed two X6's so far.

A 1 pc lower would be nice.....convenience of less hardware

Or even a f/g cover that replaces the plastic lens cover.....for the racers.

i'm interested in the body. please get rid of the (useless) HOLE on the left side fairing. i agree the plastic is way too fragile.

I would want a set for the X6 and X12.I'm in Bellflower Ca so you are close to me.

OK guys well im going to start on monday Im not going to make thr front fender as it is useless imop any one have problem with that also no rear fender either.I dont have those pices I threw them away long ago.Dose any one want stands.?IMMAKEING MORE.? The body I was thinking of thining down the rear end.Also the side panels I was thinking of eliminateing the hole and the body lines IM going to round out the front kind of bulbis.also no more wind screen at least that you can see through.IT will double as a number plate.Also remove the useless air vents in the front.So im truing to brake the fairings down to in to two to three pices .Fore ease of removeal Now the fairings are going to be bare Ie no paint At most white gel coat.Als i have been thinking of makeing some out of carbon fiber,but i think the cost will be to much.but it would be bad ***.clear reson with the corbon fiber visable.....SO INPUT INPUT>>>>>

I foregot to tell yall the front upper and lower will be seprate like now .But the top is gna be one pice tank to tail wud yall think.Also thiking up the rear tail so that it fits the sub frame like a glove. think it will give better feel due to no flex in the seat. wud ya think...

How much for a front fender? I want to keep my lights as I have modded my bike with better turn signals and a stop light

I think that is a great idea, you have to remove the tail to remove the gas tank cover. Most of the maintenance is under the tank cover. Will the fiberglass weigh much more then the plastic on there more.

HOW MANY OF MY X - 6 brothers want them.??????? IM also looking At the X-12 to see what I can do.

Make a set and post pix (quality). I'd like to see what the Lower (1pc), Upper and tank/tail section would look like.

As for the Upper, I'd like to see what it would look like with no vent and head lamp holes, but leave the wind screen opening......for those that prefer to have/use colored wind screens

How fast stock do these bikes go? (x6)
