Re: X18 or this bike

From the file names I'd guess it's an X15. I've had no experience with that bike though.

Re: X18 or this bike

Go with the x18, I have both, that other bike your refering to is a GS59B, some people refer it as a x15 but they also call the GS57 a x15. The x18 is a better more aggresive bike, the GS59B like mine witch is fully auto, it's not a bad bike, but the stock sprockets are all wrong for the bike, I had to change mine all out and it wasn't easy because nobody has rear sprockets for this thing but ax18 stock sprocket works well on it "they have the same rear wheels" and I was able to swap one with other and they both benifited from it. The rear swing arm on the GS59B is kinda cheesy and limits you to certain a size front sprocket you can use on it, I'm running a 16/38 combo and as of now thats all that will fit on it without the chain rubbing something. Stock the bike comes with 17/32 combo, meaning you have to fred flinstone the thing to get it moving, and to top it out you have to have a long streaight away down hill, and don't even think of turning around and climbing that hill.

Re: X18 or this bike

i would also go with the x18......you will like the manual clutch alot better, you would get tired of the automatic real fast.....the x18 is also built a bit better, has a nicer gauge cluster and the switches and stuff is alot better positioned on the x18 too........

Re: X18 or this bike

Even with faster gearing my 18 climbs hills, still accelerating, in 2nd and 3rd gear.
