Ive done some searching before ordering my X-18, I didnt know any performace heads were around. Thats great to know others have them availible. I hope im not breaking the rules by asking where a good place to buy the ported head with bigger valves is? i havent seen any. Also the big bore kit? and cam? i did find a place for a cam....Thankyou in advance......Hal
Thanks for the info but I have one simple but difficult question(anyone can help):I have a very bad hip(hip replacement) and can hardly kneel down, would the x18 or any type of midbike be better for someone like me to ride? I dont know about kneeling and holding my legs while sitting on a pocket bike(15-18 inches)....that might make me cry
and one more small question: is there a smaller bike in between x18-pocket bike(15-18 inches)?
I wouldn't think any of the pocket or mid bikes would be too great for someone with a hip replacement.
Well I want to get into a new hobby and I can bend my knee and hip its just not as good as my other and I was kinda worried about purchasing a bike that maybe to low to the ground but as long as its about 24" tall Im find.
I just need a bike thats frame is sturdy and solid and a bike that I can actually work on and learn from as I learn more about it(up grades).Theres so many names and things going on her...its kinda confusing.

if anyone near you sells pocket and midbikes, i would suggest going in and checking them out, to see if it's something you could deal with.
seat height is usually quoted around 26 to 27 inches on an x18.
X7 and 90GTV correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the X12 have the most stretched out position for rdowe? I know it has problems but he's willing to work on the bike. Most of the pressure would be on his arms and wrist not his knees. I thought about the X12 because of my ACL repair and I still might buy one but only after the GS-57b I'm looking at.
at 6ft3 most of my weight was on my wrists, or a lot of it anyway. the problem with my legs on that bike, is that the pegs are back kinda far. my legs would cramp. if you wanted to put some time in it, im sure you could modify any of them to suit you a little better.
