Unhappy X18 Kick Start Problem

Well My Actual Kick Start Fell Of My Bike And The Kick Start And The Engine That Holds The Kick Start Are Now Stripped. So I Got The Idea From My Friend That I Could Weldge It On. Any Ideas? Can I Really Weldge It On. And Is That Type Of Metal Supportive To Get Wedged Onto The Engine? Is There Any Alternative. I Really Wana Get The Kick Start Fixed Because My Battery Doesnt Function At All Anymore. It Wont Charge.

Re: X18 Kick Start Problem

The best way whould be to buy a new kickstarter shaft and install it...If you try to press it on it will strip in a short time and if you weld it youll probably burn the seal out of the casing and cause further problems for down the road when youll need to clean the oil screen or replace the clutch. If youre handy enough to drill through the center of the shaft and the kicker you can fix it with a thin bolt/nut and depending on how much you kick on it will determine how long it will last.........Peace
