X6 110cc Idle Speed

I just bought a GPT Tach 2001 for my X6 110cc CVT 4T and I was wondering what the correct idle speed would be around. I think my tach is messed up it reads 2200-2500rpm and says the top is around 10k. Now could this possibly be because I have a CVT or is the Tach screwin'? Hope you can help but I don't dobut you people. Thanks
