i have a quick question where should the a/f screw be set....and when i revv the the bike it stays semi high for awhile than comes down and dies>>>.any clue really would appreciate>>>and i top at 30 is this right i used a gps >

The factory setting on the a/f screw is 2- 2 1/2 turns out.

It sounds like the pilot jet may be clogged or the float is set too low.

Remove the carb.Thouroughly clean out both jets and all the small holes theres almost 30 between 2 jets.

Theres a float restrictor tab in the bottom of the float bowl that needs to be grinded down so the float can drop low enough to allow proper fuelflow to the carb floatbowl area and keep it to proper height to keep the pilot jet and mainjet immersed in gas..........

After you clean out the carb,carb jets,reset the float and do the floatbowl mod youll notice the bike will start up faster;-idle smoother and run better than it ever did.Also put in a fresh NGK C7HSA sparkplug...........................Peace
