i dont think anyone has actually bought them tho...

in another post, there were some things that made this bike very skeptical, like different brakes, different sided trannys, etc...
we were looking at some pics from this site:

this bike is the answer to the epa and c.a.r.b. noose. I don't know how hardcore enthusiasts will react to the introduction of these types of midbikes...they are almost nsr or ysr---ish. What do you all think?

Angry

So they are billing that bike as the X9??? I have the same bike (bodywork) and it is labled as the X7. What is the difference....mine is a 2 stroke as well. The X7 Moniker is just a sticker on mine, but everything else in your picture is identical to what I have, even the words...just a 7 in place of your 9. What gives???

X7, X9, 380, R1..x whatever...

These are all labels. If you purchase from a manuafacturer you can have the bikes oem what ever you want to call them. These bikes are not made by just one company...there are so many manufacturers that simply knock off each others designs...

i hope they are not offering 49cc 4 strokes, that would be like a 25cc 2 stroke in terms of power i think. i read somewhere they're gonna be 108cc 4 strokes, but still wouldn't it have been cheaper for them to make a 100cc 2 stroke, now that would be killer. i know california doesnt like 2 strokes cause of pollution but wouldn't a 2 stroke running on ethanol and good oil pass smog? eh... just rambling

actually it is a 50cc...but don't you think that the xr 50s full of potential...4 cycles have more options and they are more efficient that 2 strokes...the 2 cycle engine is still a competitor...but think in terms of power band...it would be different if we could hook a 2cycle up to a gear box.
