49cc Pocket Bike Problem

Hi all,
I am a first timer and am planning to purchase a pocket bike pretty soon. I have a huge dillema here and your advice is appreciated. I am looking into buying the biggest pocket bike I can find (seat height wise and not engine wise). From what I have read the biggest ones are the x7, x15, and x18. There is no question in my mind I would normally go with the 15 or 18, the problem is I live in Minnesota and here anything above 50cc would require me to register as a motorcycle in order to ride on the street, with that comes the insurance requirements and other headaches (I already have my motorcycle permit so no problems there). I would like to register my bike as a moped for the insurance and riding restrictions i mentioned PLUS as a moped i can park at bike racks and not get ticketed So here are my questions:

1) Has anyone heard of somehow registering the x15/18 as mopeds?
2) Are the above mentioned bikes plus the x7 truly the largest pocket bikes or are there others?
3) Is the claimed top speed of the x7 truly 35mph? And are there easy ways to increase that?

As you can see I'm trying to get the best of both worlds (speed and convenience). Does anyone know if i can get my hands on a x7 49cc registration certificate this may solve my problems.....

Thanks

Re: 49cc Pocket Bike Problem

Also:

- Is minipocketrockets.com the only place where the bikes come with epa exemption? And are they the best place to buy from (price, packaging, customer service)?
-Does the x7 come with turn signals?

Thanks,

write all you want. I WONT SKIP OVER LONG POST...give it to me
