I was browsing the cag forums. and came across this.. just posted incase you didnt already see it!

http://matrixxpocketbikes.com/store/...ocket-bike.php

At other sites ive heard its advertised for $650 12hp, water cooled. goes 50+ out of the box. some are saying its actually 6hp or so. but some guys that have ridden said its wicked fast.

6hp is much more believable than 12hp.

And 50mph out of the box is a flat out lie. (But it is a good looking Blata B1 Origami knock-off)

For example: The current world land speed record on a Pocketbike was done on a very worked Blata B1 Origami BlackJack model and it only reached 66mph

How do I know all this? I used to own a Blata B1 Origami BlackJack.

(The BlackJack is the souped up model of the Blata B1 Origami)

And before you ask, no I'm not bashing on the bike, I think it's a step in the right direction for Chinese bikes, but the claims these dealers are making are crazy. But then again, a lot of sellers have been known to fib about hp and top speed ratings.

Yeah, i totally understand and agree. More Hp is always the right direction!

I would like to see something bigger then a mid bike, but still classified as a street legal scooter. Something with LOTS of potential for speed (70-80mph) I plan to replace my kawasaki ninja 1000 with one of these some day. My kawasaki is expensive to maintain, to dangerous to race. 610lbs wet 130 whp... yeah its fun, but do you know what its like to come up to a corner at 145mph and you need to shed about 90... The brakes just arent adequate for it to be competetive.

Old "R" model huh? Black or Red?

My last 13 sportbikes have all been green, so i know exactly what you mean. (I currently race a ZX6RR, don't ride on the street anymore).

Heh, that rhymes!!

Yeah, its not black nor red, i bought it with this terrible camelon paint job. Its green... turns hot pink during afternoon, by late evening its dark purple.

I plan to fully restore it... i am thinking that dark midnight blueish color. Or i may sell it and just concentrate on these pocket bikes.. but-- they have to remain street legal

at the moment its getting Jet kit, rear tire, brakes, vance hines exhaust. then we're going to top that off with a dyno tune. shooting for 130whp Then it will be faster then my old ZRX1200r

Midbikes are said to have 2.5 to 5hp.....but they really have just under 2hp.

Water cooled Cag

Hi everyone,

I am one of the owners of Matrixx pocketbikes, and wanted to comment on the water cooled cag thread. The specs we are quoting came from our manufacturer, and we are unable to verify how accurate they are. I can however say, that I am one of very few people who has actually seen this bike. The pictures on our web site were taken by me, and are not the same stock photo most people are using. That bike is a sample, owned by one of our importers. I have also ridden the bike, which is more than most people can say right now, and being the owner of 3 cags, and an Elite 13 can make a decent comparison. I have not had it at full speed, but have actually ridden it in a huge warehouse, and its very fast. As soon as our containers clear customs, which is the problem right now, we will shoot video of it, and validate or disprove all the specs. The problem is they are being imported as scooters, and are too fast to fit the bill. So as soon as the customs side is sorted out, we will certainly confirm the true specs on the bike. Right now all we have to go on, are the manufacturers claims. 60 mph is definitely far fetched however. The bike won't go 60. Our web site states up to 50 depending on conditions. Similar to the specs for the Elite 13, which I am not able to hit 50 on either. Unlike a lot of people, we are not accepting any money for these bikes, untill we can fully verify the full performance of these bikes. No pre orders or anything like that. We want to know exactly what they will and won't do before we offer them to the public.

-Scott

The Water cool Bikes are coming in 10-12 days from now and we will all see how run and hopeful they have fix all the bugs in the bike. I was one of the few that got the frist shipment in and there was lots of bug. So what I have heard that in this coming shipment the bike will be full bug free well thats what we all hope for.

I seen the welds on these on close up inspection its not nearly as clean as the real b1s. But its good enough. You can always fix most of the welding yourself. As for me I wouldnt mind buying jsut the motor. That would make a cag scream.

Not sure which that one is, but we have ours now, and are selling them for $999 They are fast as hell, built extremely well, and going fast. Faster than my Elite 13, and a lot more comfortable. Dual rotors in the front also!

Wink chinese watecoolde bike FACTS

thunder from downunder! i race my china 39cc watercooled bike weekly here in oz, and it is FAAAST guys, measured 83kmh on flat road next to my zzr, so 50mph+ is accurate alright, (but only just. factor in 5% speedo error on the road bike an you still have 50mph. these bikes are near identical to the blata B1 and i hear whispers that the motor is a direct polini rip off, sure 12hp is a bit rich, my butt dyno tells me it is more than 6hp however. my air cooled (modified (ported, custom pipe, carby)) bike should be making 5hp conservatively, and the water weapon craps all over it, top speed, and acceleration! i wouldnt mind having a crack at that 66mph land speed record after i get my grotty little hands inside the motor of it. lastly, you can never have enough protective gear, this is a warning to all, my close friend and i had a bingle on the track last night, we both wear race leathers & i walked away with lightly bruised knees, he went to hospital with 1 broken and 2 cracked ribs in his back, he wasnt wearing his back protector... ouch.
