Well, I drew up a schematic (minus the wiring for the worthless guages) when I rewired mine. Unfortunately I do not have a scanner. I can tell you what component is wired to what, but the wire color codes are likely different on your bike. Does your new engine have an E-start/generator? If not, things just got a whole lot simpler.

Thats alot of engine. Alot size wise too 15"L x 10.5"w x 15"h. How are you fitting that and a transmission in without it looking overly bulky? Speaking of what kind of tranny you using? I would be interested in seeing some pics of this one.

Wiring Diagram for Cateye

I have a wiring diagram - not sure where I found it but I think it's for a cateye. Hope it helps - I won't say it's right either, so use it at your own risk!

the tranny isnt anything but a centrifical clutch... i have a new body for it (you have to cut out pieces here and there) and im also going to paint it (any suggestions) and tommorow im taking it to a local shop and getting a little exaust welded up ( idont have a welder) and about pics there are some in my galley but its just the bike and motor seperate when this was still a idea it will be a while untill i get pics cuz i dont have a digi (i took those with a friends camera)

Here is a avery simple diagram. it is for a Harley but you can just eliminate what you are not using..like the charging. All you need to know is how to hook up the key switch for the battery and lights.
