help with carb

so i can get my bike to start when i have the choke on but the rear tire starts spinning so i turn the throttel screw until the wheel stops moving than i turn the choke off and it dies so i trun the screw on the top until the bike will start with the choke off and it rides good but when i trun the bike off and come back later smae thing happens and ideas thanks and the bike is stock

oh first to help you....turn ur air/fuel screw all the way to the right and seat it. Then turn is 1.5 turns. This is startin position. Then lower your idle screw.. Start the bike, then set ur idle screw to a good but not to high position...then see if it stays on... if not then turn the a/f half turn to the left...keep tryin buy turning .5 turns and then it should idle..

ok so i did what you said and i got 6the air fule mix screw all the way out and still wouldent idle and the only way i can keep it running is to give it gas please help

try 2 1/2 screws out if that doesnt work check your fuel lines to see if there are any kind of problems i see them sometimes on the x7s
if that doesnt work try getting a new one

ya my carb was doing the same thing i just got a differnt one. i thinck the wt-603 carb ported race one 16.5mm is to much for our engines? cuz my bike will go good at 3rd the way throttle and if i rev it all the way it die's like it has to much gas and i lean it as far as it goes? there's not to much oil.

should have gotten the 13 ..or is it 14?...idk i forgot =P

the size i ment you went for a 16 you said?

13-14 is smaller then stock lol i should of got a ADA 15mm that has better flow and biger jet's

so this didnt help at alll.. so would you say i have to get a new carb or what

i would spare the trouble and get a new one..

dont get a wt 603 type or anything that look's it they are a pain lol. get a ADA HP carb 40.00
