How do I take off gas tank????


I've been trying to look in my bike how to take out the gas tank for the fuel filter to see if its clogged up (bike isnt starting) but I can't find where to take off the tank fairing to get to the tank and i think i have to take off the seat but i cant!! so if you could please tell me how to take out the tank and take take out the fuel filter (tube that goes from tank TO carb and OUT of carb.... Thanks for all the help

Dude pull the fuel line(black one) off the carb....does gas flow out? Does the bike have spark? You sure have a lot of trouble with that bike that you were not going to ride till Christmas...

im riding anyway and spark does work i tested it and so i just pull it out? loland so when i do should it just flow out?

yes gas should flow until the tank is dry.
no spark?....check the coil.

i said spark DOES work lol so i should like get a bucket to pour it in if it flows n how hard is it gettin it bac on (i havent taken it off lol)

well i drained most of it it was comin down to like a few drops os i put it back on and it came out nice but like does that mean the carb jet is clogged??

It could......and it could also mean the carb is not sealed to the intake and drawing air.......check carb and intake bolts are tight.... Fill it back up......prime the bulb until it is full......choke switch to on and hold throttle wide open....pull start it. If that does not work try wd-40 or starting fluid sprayed into the air cleanerbox.....if the starting fluid is used .....use it spairingly and with caution.

the air cleaner box?
is it the bronzish part on the air filter intake thing (inbetween the 2 screws)
