i cant find any cheap boost bottles


hey i want a boost bottle but i cant find any cheap ones so can u get some help?

make a boost bottle, it only cost 20-30 dollars. i did this weekend and saw 3-4 MPH gain. its very worth it.

the thing is i cant get a manifold that i can drill through and need a predrilled one????

or can i drill through it with a regular drill and its pretty fast?

You need to be patient and give people time to see your threads this is a forum not a chat room.

Check the faq and use the search there is alot of info on the site about making a boost bottle to include how to drill & tap the manifold.

well i know how to its just i tink it would be easier to just pre - order one but i was also wondering wats the cheapest one out there thats not a homemade one??

noooooo dont by a home made one or a real one. MAKE one its only 20-30 dollars. real ones are 70+ so if money is a issue MAKE one

roxmysox was ur manifold metal or plastic ... if metal how did u drill a hole???

can anyone tell me if the manifold on a X7 is plastic or metal

The stock intake manifold is plastic. Easy to drill through. Lemme run out and snap pics.

the x7 manifolds look metal but are HARD plastic. when i made my bottle it was KINDA hard to drill through but not that hard. but u need a tap which is 70ish for a set.... look at diffrent forums for how to make them... hope everythin goes well

You can go to Ebay and buy an OTB Duel Boost kit or OTB Single Boost kit. Do not settle for cheap, but rather get something you know will work great and you will be satisfied with the results. OTB's Boost Bottles work great and they are tested.
