problem with bike chain...


ok now i was riding the bike and the engine came of the mounts and lifted the back chain *i have 2 chain system* off... when i tryed to remount the chain it has some how come underneath the metal frame and the only way to take it off is to take a link off... so i was just wondering how on earth to i seperate a link??? and if i do seperate a link is it easy to put back together..

To seperate a link you will need a chain link remover (no really, thats what they are called). You can get one form any bicycle shop or online. DO NOT buy some cheapo one from walmart, i bought one and used it and the tool broke and left me with the chain unlinked. Once you have the tool its a snap to take the off and put them back on.
