question about new bike models vs old

My neighbor got a new generation, 2007 x7, off Ebay.

Is it better to buy a newer generation x7, or go with the older generation l7? or if the l7 is updated each year, is it better to buy the new l7, when they get back in stock?

Which bike is most cost effective? Are the new generation bikes a lot better than the old?

Thanks.

Re: question about new bike models vs old

Also, how does the agility of the larger x7 compare to the smaller l7? I noticed that most racers doing the tight turns are on the smaller bikes, but can this be done just as well on a superbike?

lucky 7s are actually somewhat useful. x7s are useless and pieces of ****. they will not handle well at all and the only thing i think i could think of doing with that thing is making like a show bike or a stunt bike. get the lucky 7

Re: question about new bike models vs old

to be honest with ya again, I have disagreed with all your post so far PBJ. The X7 is one of the best built Mid/super bikes, I am not the only one to say that. The L7 is a Small " Pocket" style bike, of course its going to corner better its got a shorter wheel base. It all depends on what u are looking to do, the L7 is good if u are on the track 24/7 ( personal view) X7 is a Comfortable riding bike with a pretty nice power band and handle pretty **** good for a daily rider...
