The pacsales without the silencer should be almost identical in power gains. The pacsales would have slightly more torque but the proline should have slightly more high end. Their both good pipes, thier made for different applications in mind.

I tried the "Bazooka/pacsales" pipe without the silencer and it just sounds way too loud. REALLY loud popping. I removed the silencer packing and kept the empty silencer on and it sounded just as quiet? I couldn't tell any really see any improvements except for me beating my cousin(-30lbs) on his x2 who I never could on a drag race! Well he said there was something heh hem, wrong with his bike that night? hmmm I don't know. I wanted to then try my bike out against the 380x's but the police came before we could ride!!

Overall after removing the silencer, except for it being raw metal, and straight out instead of to the side, looks wise, it's not that different. I hear it's quieter also? I haven't actually raced anyone with the proline pipe so I can't really vouch for it that it's better or not than the pacsales pipe. But for the price, about $50 less, I'm happy with my pacsales pipe.

The Proline pipe is only $150.00.The Pacsales pipe is $169.00 (DDM)to $185.00(Outlaw Parts). The Proline pipe is a faster pipe than the Pacsales. Using the stock header, and the stinger on the Proline pipe is why. I don't know why anyone would want to spend money on that pipe then take off the silencer. Taking off the silencer won't do anything without the right stinger.

Oops didn't mean to step on anyones toes with MY opinion about the PACASALES pipe. First off, let me state that I'm not an aspiring pocket bike race champion, obviously by many peoples opinion on the proline pipe, if not the best, it's one of the top pipes for racing these midbikes. On the other other hand for the price and performance gains, I'm am very content with the pacsales pipe.

Don't mean to bust anyone out, but through a PM I was given a total price of $170.00 shipped for the proline pipe.Oops I just checked the website and on the proline website it says $170.00 shipped.

I got the pacsales OTD for $120.00 total.

Like I said I haven't experienced the proline pipe in person myself but
By popular opinion, for fifty more dollars I would be running with the best.

P.S. In the pictures I posted of my bike you can clearly see that the stinger is on.

Here are pics of the pacsales pipe(pic1) and the proline pipe(pic2). Not trying to cause waves or anything, but see how the proline pipe comes to a "stinger" looking end? Guess what the end of the pacsales pipe looks like without a silencer on it?

No problem at all. The Pac pipe is normally $169.00 and up. Sounds like you got a great deal on yours!

The it would be cheaper from DDM with the free shipping.

By the way, you should really use the stock header pipe on the X-1 pipe. It sais to do so on DDMs' site and will give a noticeable gain of power over the use of it without the stock header.

I had to make some modifications to my bike frame for the pacslaes pipe to fit. I don' t see anyway that the pacsales pipe would fit using the stock header? Does anyone have any pics of the pacsales pipe installed using the stock header?> I imagine that using the stock header x-1 pipe will make the pipe stick way out of the tail?

I actually bought 2 of them during some testing for my race team. I am currently going 47mph with a radar gun and have only 2 aftermarket parts on my bike.
1-Airfilter/velocity stack
2-Prolilne pipe
3-In house porting to stock cylinder
4-CVT tunning I MEAN A WHOLE LOTTA TUNNING
All this equaled an impressive 47 mph on a radar gun! With stock gearing.
My Original engine on my X2 will spin the engine to 10,800 rpms while on a stand and under the load of the drivetrain only(Freewheeling). Under load the at top speed 47 mph. the tach almost reaches 9,000 rpms. This is mostly credited to the Proline pipe accenting my in house porting . I am also going to try his Cag reed cage and will keep all posted! Sorry to boast but its worth letting people know what little aftermarket mods(money) you have get(spend) to go fast. Knowledge is power. I don't have any pictures but I have my X1 plated as a moped and for a small wager I will run in down a 2 lane road that has a 45 mph speed limit. That way I won't get pulled over for speeding. Most cops won't pull you over for only going 2 mph over. LOL LOL LOL
My bike with original engine/cylinder/carb/timming key will hit 47mph with a picture of my on it and the radar reading 47mph with no other traffic in the picture. Wanna bet MR ADVERTISING! LOL
Some people man. I give up! Just teasing I know you want a Proline!
There is only 1 winner!

Yea I just got lucky. It was the 3rd one I had done. I keept going bigger and bigger and this is the biggest one. Piston mods and lowest squish possible without taking too much off the piston make for a crisp running engine all the way up to 10,800 rpms under freewheling conditions(on a stand). I really want to try a PBU cylinder kit on my R1(380x) to see how it does. I did not put any 4th ports in. I just cleaned up the existing ports and put a window in the piston. HE HE HE
There is only 1 WINNER!
