Arrow what fuel ratio next????

i have run about 80+ miles on my x7 using 25:1 fuel ratio (using non-synthetic oil) i have enough oil to make about 10 more gallons, so should i switch to 32:1 or 50:1 Ratio next, and should i keep using non-synthetic oil, or should i switch to synthic oil???( i dont want to waste all of my non-synthetic oil i already have)

Personally,
I would use the oil you have and run a 30:1, and when that's gone switch to synthetic with the same ratio. My CatEye reccomendation was 20:1 for break-in and 25:1 after.
Cutting the reccomended oil in half doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
50:1 is a great mixture for performance, but I want to get a little more lube in there than that.
Just me, I know others differ...

yeah i probaly have 5 miles or less on my x7 and i use 100:1 amsoil premix smoke free. i used 50:1 amsoil on the first tank but the second next tank i switched to 100:1 and havent looked back (im still on my 2nd tank....).

I've never heard of anyone running 100:1 in one of these, or anything that requires 2 stroke oil for that matter...
What ratio does the manufacturer reccomend?

amsoil recommends this in 2 strokes per their documentation. i have seen others here (which is how i got word of it) do and, i have spoken with an amsoil rep right here in atlanta and i have seen good results thus far.. ;-)

AMSOIL Saber 100:1 2-Cycle Oil is recommended for 100:1 mix ratios in normal service. Richer mix ratios may be used where desired.

i run the Dominator from amsoil, (50:1), amsoil reps recomend the dominator for racing applications over the saber, both the saber and dominator lines are fine for these motors.

hey man this is one of those subjects you just need to make a decision on your own alot of people give there ideas here good or bad its just they way they do things.almost every midbike recomends 20:1 0r 25:1 but it depends on what you are comfortable with runing a leaner mix is ok but if you notice most people runing a leaner mix are also useing oil that is made to run like that so if it helps runing 32:1 or 50:1 is ok but, but notice what kind of oil most of the people that are useing on the lean mix they are amsoil or redline and not having any problems.

YES, thank you for pointing that out Shibby. YOU CANNOT just decide to mix the oil 50:1 or 100:1 and expect it to be okay, you must use oil designed for that mix ratio. Like I said in the other thread that talks about this subject, I have run 100:1 for years and in every two stroke I own and it never hurt anything.

I have even ran it in 4 strokes when I was too lazy to run to the gas station for the mower and it didnt even foul the plug. It may have been a waste (in the mower), but it really makes a difference on plug life. Especially when you buy a splitfire or good plug and dont want to throw it away after 2 days or a really long riding session.

I ran 25:1 the first two tanks with std conventional 2 stroke oil, then 50:1 semi synth (golden spectro) bike has about 8 tanks at 50:1. I also retuned then bike to run texico LL100 airplane fuel (very refined, and has a high 02 content like VP ultimate 2), I recently pulled the pipe and turned the motor over to look at the piston, It was unscuffed and looked almost new.
