X-1 and X-2 Questions?

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I am excited to see the modding of these pocketbikes. It's cool to see what these things can do. I had a few questions regarding a purchase of a pocketbike.

1. I saw a a few pocketbikes at Pepboys. Are the X-1 and X-2 available from pepboys?

2. Which is better, the X1 or the X2?

3. Is the CVT only available on the X2?

4. I am 215 pounds, am I to big for one of these?

any other general info would be appreciated.

Ride Safe!

1)X1 and 2 are available from pepboys... however, i wouldnt buy it from there... ppl say there is always something wrong with them...

2)X1 is no different from the X2... usually, if u have an X bike with a CVT, it is reffered to as a X2, and X1 is no CVT...

3) again, X2 is referred to as the CVT bike, and X1 is the non CVT bike

4) my dad is 225... he rides my cateyes, which is smaller than the X bikes... so an X bike should work good...

Thanks for all your help!

A couple more questions..

Do I want the CVT? Is a better thing to have? How can I tell if the bike is an X1 or an X2. So far I noticed that the X2 has blinkers, and you can notice the CVT, as a little black case?

Thanks again,
Pocketrocket

tune your carb, check your brakes for not rubbing, drill holes in stock airbox OR take off air box and run a filter with washers on the top....
there might be more, try reading the midbike how-tos...
