X1 Carb problems

Ok so i took a carberator off the old scooter to get my x1 running a while back well now i finaly got the parts for my scooter so i ordered a carb for the pocketbike well i put the scooters carb back on the scooter and this new carb on the pocket bike....i adjusted the air/fuel screw too 2 and 1/2 turns...i went to ride and it started fine i rode for 5min and the engine died....i couldnt get it to start again so i walked it home and found that the engine was flooded then i took the carb off and put it on the old scooter and it flooded the scooter engine....both the carbs look like the same size but why does the new one flood the engines....sorry for the long story haha

Re: X1 Carb problems

I'm not saying you got it from a bad site. It's a known problem with the stock carbs and I've seen it 50 times through the years here. I've seen it with new carbs and old carbs. Your just lucky it only flooded the motors and not leak the whole tank out on the floor.
