x2 ignition

Alright I bought a x2 here in town the other day and it doesn't have a key to start it. Is there a way to get around not having the key? Or can I use a lawmower key of some sort to start it? If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Re: x2 ignition

So is there just two wires going to the tumber or is there more then that? If that is all that is back there then there should be no problem wiring in a switch.

there are 4 wires going to the key switch, 2 for ignitin shut off and two for lights...You can disconnect the wires (unplug) from the key switch, this will allow the bike to run since the ignition won't be grounded out, you'll have to pull start it, you wont have lights but the bike will run.... You can either buy a new switch with a key off ebay for pocket bikes or wire it up with a toggle switches for the lights and to power the elec start like Straydawg said
