X2 Sticker Kits - help!

Hi all!

I've got an X2 on the way, and want to get some stickers for it. It's black in colour, and i'm open to any suggestions. Are there any reputable web sites i can view/order?

I'm in Perth, Western Australia.

Cheers

Hope this helps Ebay in my opinion the best place to find them. Tapeworks.com sells complete kits although pretty pricey. Also you can find a local vinyl decal shop and they'll make you pretty much anything you want.

1. Remove all dirt, bugs, etc. Just about any cleaner will work here. If you use anything ammonia based, be sure you remove ALL traces of it before you continue.
2. Spray the surface with a touch of dish washing soap added to plain water. Be sure the area you will be sticking the decal to is mostly wet.
3. Remove decal piece from the paper. Use a razor to lift the decal off the paper instead of using a fingernail. Pull it off slowly, being careful not to tear it.
4. Apply the decal to the wet surface. You should be able to slide it into position while it is still wet.
5. Push out any bubbles with your finger. If you start to form any wrinkles, lift an end of the decal piece up and push the wrinkle out.
6. Use a blow dryer on your decals. This will allow it to stretch and conform to most curves. As you blow heat on it, push out any wrinkled edges or bubbles.
7. Now repeat from step 3 until every decal has been applied.
8. Note, if any bubbles are left, poke with a small needle while still wet.
Allow for plenty of dry time. Let it sit in the hot sun or use a blow dryer to speed up the process.

Hey Ninja - anything that will give the race replica look... Repsol, Marlboro, perhaps Camel... just a set of motorcycle related ones would do. Cheers.

Haven't got the bike yet, just ordered, should have it first week on November. I've grouped together with some other locals for a bulk purchase from the factory (China). Check us out on www.perthstreetbikes.com (forum) for details.

As for riding venues - the outdoor go kart race tracks are an option - as are a couple of the s/centre carparks... stay tuned

Hey WCKid, I'd like a fireblade style kit if possible, something that would suit the black bike. Maybe those mirror finish ones? If not, maybe a Kawa ZX7R or Suzi GSX-R replica set, again in a colour that would suit the black bike paint.

Cheers!

Hey Ninja, the Kart tracks charge to hire out, each has to be negotiated. A typical 1/2 day costs several hundred dollars - fine if you have a good sized group to share costs with. The car parks require permission, but several already allow motorcycle training, for example (like the one in Selby Street Jolimont, next to the Netball courts).

Keep checking our website for venues and organised ride days on tracks...

Cheers
