| X7 gauge Lights staying on with key out?
I came home yesterday and glanced over my bike in passing... Behold... the key was out of the ignition switch and the Lights in the gauge cluster were both lit...... The green and the red light were on.... So I put the key in the bike and tried to turn here over.... click click.... battery was too low....
Last week I tapped into the main battery wires with :
10 gauge wire & 3M tap/quick connects
to make to leads of the battery to make charging easy.. I attached spade terminal on the ends so my 12volt 1 amp trickle charger could connect to them easy.. After I finished charging I just zip tied up nice and neat and electrical taped the ends of terminal well so I wouldn't get a short circuit in between charges....
Well I checked my connections and all is still well....Everything was still wrapped up nice and neat with no wiring touching anything?
What do ya think it could be that is causing the lights to draw down power?
