is that 5mm or less & is it accurectly working cuz mines doesnt start working until i start going 10mph.

1/8'' or less, mine works as soon as i turn my wheels but we have different speedometers

maybe thats why mines isnt working so great i monted it about 5mm away and its secured by a zip tie on one of the spokes.

i see the governor on the bike, yet what method did you all use to remove it? its quite tight in there, tough for a dremel it seems, you just take off the carb?

just take it off the carb and take the screw thats stoping the throttle from being pulled all the way back then take off the screw that is holding the L shape to the carb and then put that screw back in simple.

the top speed of an x7 out of the box is 31 mph with a 150lb rider check my thread i have a video for the x7

I just got an X-7, and out of the box my Grandmother beat me in her wheelchair going backwards. This thing BLOWS!!!

I have 2 of the X7's and LOVE them!!! with the right tweaking and mods the X7 can be a monster! there are several at he strip each sunday making 34 - 37 mph passes with nothing more than V-stacks and filters, stockers are turning 30 - 33 mph. FYI the track is an 1/8 mile. I have tuned pipes, walbro carbs, boostbox's, ported heads, and balanced pistons ordered for my 2. Can't wait to get it all installed so I can add the NOS and see what they will do at the track.
