Blata 2.5 Tuning

Well i have been concidering the Gianni Racing stage 3 kit for my 2.5. Any comments? Is there a better way to tune the bike? I'm not after top speed or bottom end - I just want a better all round bike.

Cheers

Thumbs up

From What the Weenee heard, you can't get 2.5 or cag stuff from Giannini anymore, He(Frank) has put most of his efforts towards his R1 design. The 4 pedal reed kit(very rare) is very beneficial to the 2.5 though, which Giannini sold in the past. Mudshed was selling his, but my friend 2002 got it and puttin it in a cag...golly gee wizzzz....you blata owners shoulda picked it up. Another thing you can do to the 2.5 to bring more hp is to fabricate an aftermarket cag pipe to fit.

Actually, the stock Blata 2003 and newer exhaust puts out the most HP you will find. A 4 petal reed requires 1500 MORE RPM's to achieve the same HP specs as a stock 2 petal. The spacer between the reed block and the case enhances performance by a small margin, but only when accompanied by the stock reed block, and certain aftermarket reeds. All of this tech was researched by Blata themselves in Czech on their own dyno. No hype, no bs, just factual data.
