Why is there someone sticking there foot out when there slidden? Looks a little dangerous to other racers if they were to take the outside line.

That's Paco busting the Australian style moves. You should see how much speed he carries through the wider turns, looks scarely fast. Actually, that's how you win the race, stick your leg out while coming through the turns, lightning fast, and wipe all the competition with your leg.

So thats how you So. Cal racers do it Up North we stick out our arm, and if someone would try to past, "gently" punch them
That actually started in Italy... there's a Polini factory rider over there who's famous for it.
Do you know his name or better yet do you have pics or links to pics of him? I'd like to see more "uncommon" riding styles. I was just going by what Paco told me.

hmm, lessee, who was racing pocketbikes first... Italians or Australians... let me see... I'll have to get back to you on that ( )
Marco knows his name, I have some video footage that Marco shot.
It's long, the races over there are about twice as long as the average US race, always a full 8 miles, on small tracks that's sometimes more than 30 laps! Americans would get tired and pull out before the end.
This Polini guy just gets his rhythm going with the leg thing and hangs patiently in the top 4 or 5 for most of the race and then with about 5 or 6 laps to go he starts pressing forward and by the end he's well out in front. Very cool to watch.
What i have noticed is that if u go to Australian Minimoto websites, almost all the pics have this type of form. Moreover, I have also noticed that almost all Italians point there toe out whyll turnin. This is only from what i have seen in their countries websites.
here are some pics.. and TY to everyones comments and opinions. lets hear more so we can get to the bottom of this topic.
Thats cool, i really wanna see this guy race in that video now .
you can't compare an outback rider or a west coast rider to east coast rider. its all about "seat time" you don't see a ama superbike champ from ny..they are all from places were they get the most "seat time" meaning warm weather not cold as hell east coast.
I totally agree with what you said but no one here is saying that Aussies are better, or east coast riders are better, or west coast riders are better, etc. Bill simply stated that there was an Aussie that raced with him and is a fast rider, didn't mention anything about Aussies being better than the rest. We're just talking about people's unusual riding styles which is what we'd like to hear more about.
im not trying to get people all bent in hear im just stating a fact. more "seat time" a rider tends to have the more a unique style he comes up with to win a race. for the most part that usually happens in a warm climate. so basically warm weather riders are better riders.
