Re: Polini vs Blata

I happen to love Blata bikes, but parts can be hard to get. Blatas major problem in this country is Blatausa and its staff. Ras and the rest of them don't give a rats @ss about their customers. Unless you want a new bike they will ignore all your emails and phone messages.

Polini parts are easy to get and plentiful. Bikes are more refined and easy to upgrade. You have alot more options for engine parts and accessories.

I've owned Blata elite 11s and 13. I still have Polini's a 910 and 911.

Re: Polini vs Blata

i have a blata b1, and love it. its fast and easy to repair, not that you need to fix them that often just general maintenance. the biggest repauir i have had to do on the bike is change the clutch.

Re: Polini vs Blata

The best thing that Blata ever did was put a Polini motor in one of their chassis'.

Re: Polini vs Blata

Blata Lover here...own b1- 2 elites....and a garage full of polinis too.

I prefer the feel of the elite over ALL my bike DM's, 910's, Grc RR.

Just a preference

Re: Polini vs Blata

One thing I can say is that Blata has the market cornered in Canada. A new Blata is easy to get and relatively inexpensive. I wish there was a Polini dealer here. I'd love to ditch a couple of my bikes and buy a 4.2hp 910 for parking lot riding. I really like the look of the Polini bikes, and there are a lot more upgrades available for Polini than Blata.

Re: Polini vs Blata

how did blata steal china's c2 look when blata hasnt made a bike that looks like that. and the c2 was made after the elite 14's and b1's. as well china stole the frame design for the c2 from the banshee china stole the banshee frame design from GRC.

from left to right (oldest to youngest): GRC frame desgin, Banshee Frame Design, c2 Frame Design.
