I love my RX, too and is max'd out as far as gaining speed. It's hard to believe but my 50cc team-maury51 GRC-Bizeta custom bikes(2 of them) are even faster and significantly. On the contrary my skills are on nowhere near the bikes capabilities.

One little trick that has helped me is you can buy custom hangers that hang lower and more forward that you can put on the RX and it will enable you to straighten out more and be less cramped. This with the steering dampner adjusted tight makes for a great addition

If you have alot of power you want that cramped feeling. That means your center of gravity is pushed forward a wee bit putting more weight on your front wheel. IF you are able to tame the rear wheel, this can be used to an advantage.

Perfect center of gravity is not always the best way to ride, although it is good. If it was the best we would sit out asses off the bike so much.

I attached a photo (just yes that is a stamas) to show what i meant. Torso back chest forward.

Maybe if you put your toe on the peg like this you'll gain some more conrner speed
