Uhhh...no. The 910 Carena is absolutely nothing like that. Are you sure that is a Polini? It is definitley very old.

Not sure what that is. Front of the frame looks a bit like a GRC, but the rear looks like nothing I've seen. Could be an older Chinese prototype. I say Chinese because unless the starter has been replaced, it is not a Polini motor.

I was thinking the same thing myself but it says polini on the top of the clutch housing ??

Good catch, so it does. Well, its either a Polini motor with Chinese parts or a Chinese motor with Polini parts. But what the hell is that frame?

Re: What Polini is this?

It's a real Polini. And it's not a chinese. Because it was brought from a polini agent way back during the 80's. It's using the 5'5 inch tires and parts are already givng way. That is why it need replacement. I have problem just to identifying the bike not say the parts also. Also the clutch is the 3 spring type just like the one u could find it in a cag. But it also has the word polini inprint on it. So if anyone could help, I need to know what model is it and I will work from there.

Re: What Polini is this?

As u can see, I bike is in bad condition. I was wondering if I replace with the current polini parts like the pinion, piston ring and the clutch will it fit? I have my doubth. But that is my current option. Please let me know.

That bike is a GRC, i think it's the second model that the factory did but i don't remember the model name, i only know that the GRC Lazer and that bike are sisters
You can fit polini parts because the engine is a polini aircooled 4.2 or the 6'2, so you even can fit a watercooled barrel from BZM or polini.
My mate have the same one for his son and it's watercooled.. he even bought it in the USA.

Are u saying that it is a GRC and not polini? Also could you fit a 6.5 inch tire into it front and rear?

Re: What Polini is this?

Yes, it is a GRC but with a polini engine. Except Vittorazzi and ZPF the other italian brands always fitted polini engines in their bikes.
I think you could fit the 6'5 tyres without any problem but if you decide to fit a watercooled barrel maybe the front wheel hits the radiator.

Oh boy, this is going to being interesting. Now it's a GRC. Is there by any chance I could get a brand new body from any where? If so where could I get it?

Re: What Polini is this?

Good find Mark. Here is the bike. It would have been hard for the owner to buy it from a Polini agent way back in the 80's, since it didn't come out until 1993.
