Exclamation Zpf Eco Need Urgant Help (pics Included)

ok well i baught a zpf eco flyer from my friend and he said it runs and to put the choke on and pull. so i put the choke on and pulled but it wont start, even after i cleaned the spark plug properly. it has fresh premix in it and i even got him to come over but he couldnt get it started either... all i know is that it needs a new clutch...but it should still start any way...well heres some pics...

Do yourself a favor and get a new plug. And you checked for spark, right? What fuel to oil ratio are you using? What type of oil?

32/1 klotz full synth. mixed with hi test. dont tell me thats not a good mix. and what plug does it use? or can i just fit this in it... Tsunamibike: direct import large selections of mini motorized motorcycles..pocket bikes, dirt bikes,choppers...
if the link doesnt work its a air cooled blata rep motor. or can i put a zpf replica z1 top end in it? or if i chose to fix the motor in the eco what is the best budget clutch i could put in it? im guessing banshee 2 shoe? and lastly what coil does it take?

Mix is good, although I prefer 40/1 or even 50/1. Don't know the plug, but would replace with what was in there. You can clean all you want, but if plug is old it won't help much. You might be able to fit the Blata rep motor, but would probably have to weld some mounting plates. I don't think you can put a regular ZPF top end on this motor, cause the Eco motor is non-standard. Banshee clutch should work fine, but I like the C1 rep 3 shoe clutch, which should also work. Don't know about the coil. I saw you're in NJ, I'm in Randolph, NJ. If you're ever in the area, I'll take a look at the bike.

right now i only have money for a budget clutch so i need to know wich china one is best...right now im guessing c1 but i was thinkin the engagement points too high or hopefully it can be lowered

and no its not, the wire is wrapped firmly around the spark plug cap spring, but thats why i am wondering what coil will fit

so right now a new plug is on the way...just need coil & clutch help

Don't know how much grunt the Eco motor has, or how much you weigh, but you should try between 5500 and 7500 rpm.

Re: Zpf Eco Need Urgant Help (pics Included)

ok i cant tell ya sence ive never heard it run, but the previous owner told me its really loud and alott louder than his stock cag. and i weigh 133. so i guess 6500 will be good. so now that we have clutch issues and spark plug out of the way, i would maybe guess that an inferno ignition set would fit my eco because it fits the c1,banshee,gp3, and even the z1 (zpf rep) http://pbupowersports.com/images/H20...-WITH-COIL.jpg

Re: Zpf Eco Need Urgant Help (pics Included)

that looks like a 3 iron coil you got on your bike now and not a 2 iron, check your coil gap and put a fresh plug in it and check for spark - its should be white- blueish purple in colour if its red - orangeish yellow its weak. Gapping the coil and putting in a new plug is alot cheaper than a new coil

Re: Zpf Eco Need Urgant Help (pics Included)

if the wire/boot is no good you can use an ngk cr5 or cr6 wire depending on the plugs terminal which is a 1 piece boot and wire molded together. i found this far better then the bzm coil wire with the boot that tends to untwist off the wire. theres also a lot more shielding from RFI noise with the ngk wire they're about $20-25 brand new on ebay.

Re: Zpf Eco Need Urgant Help (pics Included)

no matter what im going to replace my plug. but coils arent all that expensive and i would just feel better buying a fresh new one cuz i dont feel like rigging with the old one even if its easy and cheap. but now im unsure of what coil to buy because i have people telling me its a 3 iron and ppl telling me its a 2 iron
