I am pleased to announce the new board of directors for TPBRA
Dan Skemp-President
Jonathan Cuero- Vice President

Paul St Pierre- Secrectary
Jerry Pierce- Board of Director
Alex Cruz- Board of Director
Keyotta Barber- Board of Director

All board members are now official and voted in. Over the course of the next few weeks we will have more announcements coming. We are very excited to have our board in place with representation from Houston, Austin, DFW and Lubbock. Great! Someone from San Antonio has stuck his head up! Yes, San Antonio will be included. Just have to get some of you SA guys together to start racing.

Any Texas based race track is welcome to join the TPBRA. The more tracks/riders the better!

The TPBRA is also trying to keep the cost of racing and requirements as low as possible. For example, it isn't required for the local club members to be members of the TPBRA, even to race at the local sanctioned TPBRA race! Of course there are benefits of being a member, and those will be detailed as we go forward (examples could be: lower race fees, able to be crowned the state champion in your respective class, etc!).

As Dan stated, if your local track is interested, please shoot an email to info@tpbra.com.

We have not been able to find a place in the Dallas area that will let us race/ride on a regular basis but we do race in the Austin, Houston and San Antonio areas. Check out the website for info

Re: Texas Pocket Bike Racing Association

We do have practice 7pm-10pm on the first Fri. of every month at iron rock in Austin and the 1st and 3rd monday of every month at kart runco in San Antonio.

As for racing you need safety gear. Helmet, glove, shoes that cover the ankle, knee and elbow protection. Leathers are recommended.

you can get adobe reader for free from here

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

I also put a link on the site to get acrobat reader.

If you don't have all the safety gear let me know I am sure we can get you set up.

Re: Texas Pocket Bike Racing Association

Thumper is a general term for a single cylinder engine motorcycle. most of the times on these forums it refers to a mini motard.

Cool Re: Texas Pocket Bike Racing Association

HI, Just moved to Houston, For some time now I have been thinking about the mini super bikes, Iwas a member of the SA, STSBA for years but now that I am in Houston it is all to clear that the road are unsafe.

and would like to get back to the track but getting a bit old for the 125-1000cc So I am looking at getting a X18 or 19 and moding it,

questions on thumpers, if I do get a 18 or 19 can I mod it with a two stroke water cool powerplant IE 80cc or 125cc rm,cr,kdx ? and still comp.
and in what class,
Also I have been looking and I can not find anything on mid and thumper class here in houston I see that you guys bring in the name of Gulf Coast which is close to me, but I have call the number they have listed and it is non working. I would realy like to start this but with the mid range 100-125cc size bikes not really into the really smaller sizes fun I am sure but mid range seems more real to me, but also brings in question of track size and speed.

Never the less if someone gould let me know who, where, and a list of riders in Houston I am in. and plan to put together a team and have a few sponcers lined up up cant take up the game with no place to play.

I could start my own in parking lots and recrute but not really what I am looking for, but it may be the case , at which point I would like to talk to you all about forming a new division with in Pocketbike for mid and thumper classes
Thanks for you time
feel free to call or email
Thomas 832 655 2670 or tebis@gmail.com
Please do not spam me this is a real atempt to get something started
Sponcers welcome (not spamers)

Aslo If anyone has a fare to new X18, 19 or LG FIghter please contact
Thanks Hope to hear from someone !
