110 cc quad carb problem


I have the 4 stroke Longin engine from china just bought it today when im driving and turned off its leaking gas from the overflow hose from carb any ideas whats wrong with this thing maybe float bowl or tank valve,please help thanks

Flush the gas tank and fuel lines out there may be residual plastic floating around in there from the manufacturing process. Then do a complete carb strip down and clean up. Pay particular attention to the valve needle attached to the floats, because small particles will jack up it's operation. If that doesn't work you may need to adjust your float heights a little.

Thanks for the info,ill try this if i cant get it working better tommorow i was looking at the carb there's a top hose i asssume is a vent and the bottom hose is just the float bowl drain located on the lowest part of the carb so i hooked the two together to try if not then ill plug the bottom lower one off tosee what happens,i value you advice and do the cleaning alsdo for sure thanks.

Don't hook those two hoses together. The vent hose must remain unobstructed or the bike won't run. The lower hose is to drain your float of fuel and is blocked, unless you open the float bowl screw.

Thank you u just answered my question the lower hose needs to be plugged for some reoson the screw isnt stopping the fuel flow,ill put a bolt or valve in it,thankyou

yea this is getting crazy i plugged the floatbowl hose and now the gas is coming out of top hose,such a simple carb but when they dont work ......
