I just got the same one today. Actually a decent little bike, pretty fast compared to my giovanni dx. I really like the seating position its easy to ride and the suspension soaks up the bumps on the road, i dont think itll be adequate for offroad though, unless the trail is fairly flat and not bumpy. good for the price.
I just bought another dirt bike from Giovanni recently. They are coming 49cc now. Nice surprise to see companys selling what they claim. I've always found those guys at GiovanniBikes to be good to deal with. They have always replaced damaged parts from shipping or defect parts in general for free.
Only problem I found with any of these dirt bikes is the shock mount breaks pretty easy so re-weld it before you have trouble. I also beefed up the welding near the triple tree but everbody already knows the welding on many pocket bikes are crap.

They still do go the claimed 45 mph right? Or has nobody complained yet.
There is no 47cc engine in any of these or the chinese pocket bikes. It is a myth and anyone who tells you that it exists needs to prove it because I have worked on 100s of these and none have ever mic'ed out to be 47cc. Since one of the responders to your post claims he has a 47cc could you please tell me what bore and stroke you have that you came up with 47cc as I might be interested in paying you a lot of money for that motor since I have never actually seen an actual 47cc.
To answer your question, most likely you have the 40.2cc or a 48.6cc (that is the 49cc engine). You will need to look at your cylinder to identify it, the small bore engine has the fins all the way around, the big bore 49cc engine the fins on the cylinder break at the bottom of the barrel right above each hold down bolt.
Its a small chain reduction, it has #25 chain with 10-27 gears in that little case. We have bought three of these little bikes and they are way to high geared. Were just working on changing the sprockets this week, so we will se what happens.
