is minidirtbike as fast as mini pocketbike?

I bought a giovanni pocketbike off of ebay, my friend rolled beside me in his car and we clocked it at 45km/h on a private road.

Do the giovanni pocket dirtbikes go just as fast?

Is there any difference between giovanni and zemini?

Hi im new to this site and i got a used minidirtbike as well and would also like to know this.

Get a friend to go behind you in his car, tell him to match your speed and then go as fast as you can on your mini dirtbike and let me know how many km/h or mp/h you are going and we can compare.

the f1 (giovanni) does 45km with 170lb rider

it will go just about as fast w/ the top speed but a way to gain MASSIVE low end power is taking the exhaust off. my friend did that and acceleration is CRAZY

never ever ever take the exhaust off.. your motor will go to trash..it blows your engine after a while..so I would consider not taking the exhaust off leave it alone.

YES! never take of ur EXHOUST unless u bought a better one but never take it off.

TAking it off is good. My mufler broke off and then i choped the expansion chamber and it reved much faster and had more powere and gained almost 5mph. I know cause i have 2 of teh same ones and one was stock and one had teh choped expansion chamber and no muffler.
It was loud.

Cant blow nothing cause if you take the motor apart theirs nothing in it that will break.

Took mine agains teh stock one and kept pulling ahead of it from the start. I toped at 38 he toped at 33

Nothing needs mufflers. 4 strokes if you run no muffler and a short header you can mess up the valves other wise nothing happens. 2 strokes dont have valves they use reeds

does expansion mean seizure?

No only whay that wil happend is if it runs to hot. If you make the exhaust flow more and dont jet it or adjust the carb you will run lean cause it will be needing more gas which means it might run lean if the carb isnt mest with. No 2 stroke even needs a muffler cause its a "muffler". People think mufflers add back pressure but most dont. Back pressure is caused by block offs and curves thrue out the exhaust system and mufflers on pocket bikes are streight thrue design so it only dampins the sound and makes it rev slower by keeping th emuffler on.
I think teh whole motor going to blow saying was mostly made up cause of noise ishues and people that dont adjust the carbs have motor proublums.

Most motors will be ok as long as they have 6" of header coming off the motor. Look at drag racers they run open headers that are shortend.

dragsters are considerd 4 stroke motors
and if u want to know something insane wen running my x18 without the silencer i look at the header of my exhuast the exhuast valve got so hot and was over running itself that wen u looked at the header peice it was turning a lightly brigtened metal look.

Yeah if it hapend thow. The piston would lock in place in teh cylinder. seizure can be so bad some times that gears will become 1 like they weld to geather but pocket bikes dont have gears so...

You were lean. When you add air flow you need t oadd more fuel or you run lean which meens you will run hot. My quad is a little lean and at night some times teh header will glow super bright blue. All yo uneed to d ois rejet normaly a bigger main jet.

Im not sure like 4 stroke drag quads run no muffler and the header is chopped down really short but race quads have 4 or 5 valves. Im not sure if having less valves will cause a problume like in a 4 stroke pocket bike but 2 strokes have no nead for a pipe pocket bike or not.

Yeah flame is cool. I shoot flames almost 1 foot out of my muffler. Im trying to think up a way t ohook a small propaine tank on m yquad so i can blow a steady flame.

When i had my other motor im my quad the motors whires were screwd up so after half throttle it would pop none stop and i took off down the road and got going fast about 50mph never going over half throttle and teh n i just pulled in eth clutch and poped it down to 1st gear and that thing just blew flames like crazy it was so loud and blew flames so bad the neigbnors came over cause they thought somthing bad hapopend to my quad cause it was so loud and the poping lastid so long .

did something like that on a X12 it had the pbu pipe on it and i didn some mods and it had a rotary style shifter motor so wen i shifted again at 4th wen i thought it was 3rd the motor was just redline with flames comeing out constatly not really loud like a slight pop with flame pooring out.

Well if you dont have a spark arestor than any thing can blow flames.
some times i shoot sparks out to liek ill pop and youl see a spark go shooting and land on teh ground. My quad is almost loud a s a jet and when it back fires its super loud and i hit 13,000 rpm and have 12.5:1 compression.

4 strokes especially need atleast a head pipe becouse of the valves with all of the hott ari rushing out of the cylinder past the valves it makes them very hot and if u get any cold air say if u didnt have a head pipe the valves will become warped ! i have seen this happen more then once . and on a 2 stroke they have to have the expansion chamber thats what gives a 2 stroke its power it actually burns gasses in the exhaust unlike a 4 stroke so to who ever had that 2 stroke expansion chamber cut in half u will be much better with it back together ! and man your poor 400ex/yzf450 quad if only it knew what an exhaust was
