Just bought this on fleabay. Ordered a new BB44mm head/full circle crank kit - real Dellorto 15/15 - Composite reeds - Lightned flywheel and Zocchi pipe etc.
May change my mind and install a 50cc water cooled engine in it since I'm working with a fabricator that tig welds. We'll see how she moves with these air cooled HP parts first. I'll post pics when it's installed....
I would say stick with the air cooled engine with the upgrades. These quads are pretty fast from factory. I weight 200 lbs, and the quads I have in stock take off like a rocket. Any more power, and you are gonna hurt yourself easily. The other quads I have in stock have no shocks which would be a better candidate for lots of power. If you go ahead with the watercooled engine, make sure you stiffen up the frame, add brakes to the front( some new models out there have front brakes), hydraulic preferrably!!
Actually buddy wasn't B-S ing. They do go pretty good out of the box, I'm 180lbs and it rips me around with ease. I would guess it does about 30mph top speed with me on it.
I haven't owned anything that couldn't use some upgrades though, can't wait to install all my HP parts I bought. It's never fast or powerful enough for me
A guy here in Winnipeg took one of the rigid pocket quads, and installed the Chinese KTM SX 50 rep engine. It's a 50cc liquid with a PHBG 19. It has a funky kick-forward starter and a wet clutch. I took it for a ride, and it is mental! With the power, it really moves, but with all the steering play and small size, a guy could really hurt himself. I didn't have the courage to open it up to full speed, even wearing leathers. The guy who owns it drifts corners on pavement wearing only jeans and a t-shirt.
haha thats awesome, im looking for a mini quad but im not to sure which are the good brands and how much they cost?? i was looking at a site though they had an engine built for it that cost $350 and has about 8 hp

nice quad Nosman, which seller on e-bay did you buy it from?Any complaints about it?
how tall r u, and how does the bike run? im thinking about getting the same one but i dont know about the quality and size of the quad, can you take a pic of you standing next to it? and also is that pocket bike near it in the first pic 110cc?
It doesn't run, it fricking launches like a missle. You'll never find one like mine, close maybe but not the same. She's tuned to haul *** and that's it. Pm me if you want to know where I bought it.
The quads are a dime a dozen, you can find them on eBay everywhere. I think I paid $219.00 Canadian delivered to my door for it.
