PBU Pockect Quad?

Anyone have one yet?
If so what are your thoughts?
I rode one today and it was a blast.
Looks like I'm going to add one to my arsenal.

It has a BBK engine on it.
I was impressed even in stock form.
It had good acceleration.
Didn't get it up to top speed as I was riding it behind the shop that sell them locally.
Add a pipe, ported carb and filter, reeds and a performance clutch and you will be pleased with it.
It didn't seem any heavier than a L7.

Just saw one on fleabay starting bid is 299.00 w/90.00 shipping and it has been listed for 5 days with zero bids.
2 days to go.

BTW...the pipe that PBU has for it looks killer.
From my inspection a Jetpro,Torker or Fatty will fit also.

Can you ride them off-road? To me they look like they would go over one bump and you would have to repair the frame. They don't look like they could handle off-road. I've heard horror stories about the mini-dirt bikes...one jump and they frame is split in two.

Chris,
From your observation can these pipes fit the Quad?
Jetpro,Torker and Fatty.

Have you modded the one you ride?

all mine sold too quick. My powerpipe should fit but i doubt the others will. That motor needs to be on all air cooled cags, it rips. I got a vid of them

Re: PBU Pockect Quad?

I got one for my kids and it is an absoltue blast! I find myself grinnin from ear to ear every time I ride this thing....my son already sheared off the pinion-not really unexpected tho since it is a live axle rear end- rear fenders gone already too but they were prob gonna come off anyway- here's a tip these little bastages can do an awesome wheelie w/ no problem-even in stock trim!

Re: PBU Pockect Quad?

I have three of these quads, two are highly moded and they fly. One I just made a longer swing arm for. The mods ive done are lightend flywheel, rocket key, 44mm big bore,ADA Fiber reeds,7 tooth front sprocket, modified stock pipe(added 1 1/2" to belly of pipe and took out all protruding pipes in system, two shoe adjustable clutch.bored carb.Check out my gallerie...
