swaping out the forks, for better suspention

hey everyone,i am new to the site, this is my first post.

i baught my son this mini called a rough rider on ebay .here is the bike.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN:IT&ih=012

it is great my 6 year old son loves it and rides the hell out of it.

the thing is , it has solid front forks ,it could use some suspention in the front.

i found a set on ebay ,off what is like a giovani or zamini dirt bike. i think they will fit, here is what they are http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=003

what i would like help with is can one of you guys measure how long from top to bottom your forks are and what diameter the shaft is were it clamps to the tripple clamp,

this bike has the same little "cag" engine all the rest have, i got this one because it has a nice little frame on it.

it looks like it has front shocks but it is fake. the bike will be easyer to control with some shocks up front so it does not bounce as bad when he hits roots and rocks

i have asked the seller of the forks what the dimentions are a few times and they do not respond. so i am hoping one of you have one of those bikes and can go out there with a tape measure and hook us up. thank you

Re: swaping out the forks, for better suspention

please would one of you with a giovani/zeimini pocket dirt bike measure you forks for me and post it.

just the total leangth from top to bottom and the diameter of the tube at the top were it clamps to the bike.

you can use a tape measure that would be good enough.

heck i will send you 2 dollars via paypal if you want.

my sons bike needs front suspention, he is a 6 year old rider, help the little guy out

Re: swaping out the forks, for better suspention

no one ever helped me with this question in this site.
this site is a joke!

i PM'ed a few people that had pocket dirt bikes with shocks and they would not respond.

i emailed sellers of teh forks and of the dirt bikes, and i got no responce.
I started a few threds that asked this question.

I have given up.

If you find out please let me know.
It is for my 6 year old sons dirt bike

i say go for it. all of the chinese bikes are built the exact same. they all have the same frame and every thing. so ya if all of the bikes are the same size, than I can't see why they wouldn't work.
