didnt u get a spacer for the disk with your chinese bike? if u bought a bike with front and rear disk it will come with atlease one spacer as the rear wheel is always attached its a little spacer that stops the pads from closing means no bleeding

Have not seen the Thumpster on the mx track but have witness 2 or 3 other China brands competing against modded Honda XR50's. The results is alot of bent or broken pieces from the stress of the jumps with average 150 lb riders. The Honda's had 150 up to 270 lb riders without a hitch.

Hope to see some comparisons of strength of frame/forks/swingarm along with engine/tranny. For the prices of these at $1800 plus they should not be braking as much as I have seen.

i was just ridding with two fellas they were on CRF-50's one was tricked out to the max the dude said he had spend $10,000 on it and converted it from the 50cc to a 110cc looked unreal but very small bikes my missus pulled up next to them on her 110cc chinese bike there wheels looked like toys i was laughing at the dude on the 50cc when they first arived he popped a wheelie and fell back 20mins later i went over a jump on my KX250 than popped a wheelie over a little bump i ended up with more than i bargain for 12 years of ridding i have had all my wheelies under control but this one i just lost it no damage to the bike other than bent handle bars i have cuts to both elbows both knees and cuts all down one side of my back smashed my head into the ground worst part about it was jumping into the shower when i got home that hurt more than the stack

Well i haven't been on this site in a very long while .

I'm amazed that people are getting into motocross and motard on this site .

As far as which bike lasts and is fast/powerful,and race ready out of the box , I swear by ''PITSTER PRO'' these are 124cc ''gpx'' powered ,4 speed manual clutch, front and rear disc (06' bikes have even better brake design),and set up for an adult not a 50 lbs kid.

I race almost every weekend and this bike lasts ,and run's with all the bikes on the track very easy.

My bike now has a cam, pipe, filter and put's 10 horse power to the ground (dyno ran with a knobby tire not a street tire).

Now you can see these on line at t-boltusa.com ,very nice bikes.

All the imported bikes are getting very good, and are well worth the money ,thumpstar, pitster pro,rc motors, sikk, upc, sdg are all good and for 2 to 3 thousand less then a full race honda crf 50 they're in there.

later DEMON DAVE.
Doing it for the following sponsor's.
team T-BOLTUSA.COM
PITSTER PRO
MAJIK RIDESHOP
DEMONIC DESIGNS CLOTHING

back to the original Q

I bought 2 CRII Xtreme 2005's (they can be had for less than 1500).

Rode them in the dirt kinda mellow for about 8-10 hours for break in.

A total blast, no problems other than a few loose spokes.

Slipped on roadrace tires Dunlop TT91's and Bridgestone 601's.

Made my own custom axle sliders from skate board wheels (cause skatin is waaaaaaay slow motion) installed Acerbis handgaurds. Everything else is stock and they will stay that way.

Went out to a minimotard track day www.misupermoto.com and loosened the spokes on both rear wheels real fast!!!!!!!!!! had to keep a close eye on the problem.

Second track day i took only 1 bike as the #2 bike had 4 broken spokes that i didn't replace yet.

Had about 30 laps in and this one hard lefty i low sided out, picked up the bike and looked it over and found all the spokes on the rear wheels right outboard side were broken at the hub............. so this is where the spokes got loose on the previous track day.........

There were minimotard dudes that said get some quality spokes before you play or you'll have issues........

Other than that i dig my bikes, 1 iz fun but 2z a race

I should have new spokes soon..........

Draggin knee at top speed is so much fun

i have a thumpstar and it is awesome.Plenty of power and it takes jumps pretty well. The only thing i would upgrade is the rear shock.
