I'm not really the right one to ask questions like that I don't know what could be wrong...

If you have questions about how to paint something, then i'm the guy to ask!!

It is actually done! I have been riding it A LOT! I'm just not finished gearing it correctly... But almost It now has an 18T front sprocket, and 25T rear sprocket But i just have to get it working a bit better... But it is REALLY fun to ride!

Re: 47cc converted to 110cc

man with that gearing you will never get to top speed. the 110 doesnt have enough power to pull that. with the 18 fornt, you need no more then 33 rear. it will perform alot better with that setup.

Re: 47cc converted to 110cc

Esser, nice job on your quad. That was a really good conversion (and a terrifically funny story - glad you're okay!).

If I may make a suggestion, perhaps you should whip up a set of wheelie bars, and hard-mount them to the rear end to keep from flipping over. I've also seen some wheelie bars that have bars on the bottom half and shocks on the top half to absorb the torque and help keep the front end on the ground. Just a thought.....

Re: 47cc converted to 110cc

Thank you guys!

But as far as the gearing goes, this is the best gearing i have tried so far!!
Because the engine has 4 gears, and 1th gear is SOO LOW! So it can easily pull you from the start!

And the wheeliebar... It would look pretty cool, but i mainly use this thing for driving around my yard and stuff, so the wheeliebar would just be in the way... And it's not a problem when your start, you just have to lean forward :-)

Re: 47cc converted to 110cc

Thank you guys But it is really a lot of fun! It's like a thousand times more fun then it was before And it was fun to build too

But i have no idea where to buy the dirt tires where i live... And they are pretty expensive here too. So i'll just keep the ones i have, for as long as they last with this engine
