My cobra s4 also revs up and then stalls.
I have cleaned out the carb and replaced the old clutch springs.
if it is the cable how do you go about fixing it.

Re: Cobra S4 questions....

My S4 from MPR is a big POS. If you hve problems with it bogging and dieing check the petcock. Turning it a few time 180 degrees. Mine dose the same thing and this normally fixes it, I have yet to tear it apart to perform a real repair on it. I am 140lbs and cant get but maybe 10mph on flat ground, Off road forget it, Mater of fact here is a video I took while out on the farm. In that video you can see WOT just doesn't go. Most of the time on terrain like that I have to push it along then jump on and go. If I slow down to much I have to kick it along just to keep going. A little friendly hint to, if you get/got one and plan on going in some mud make sure your pants cover your boots. Mine didn't and the front tires will kick up and fill your boots with mud. Oh yeh and as a disclaimer in the video I have no Helmet on, Dont ever ride without one. I will practice what I preach.
