help me identify this mini quad so i can mod the engine


can someone help me what kind of mini quad it is.The quad has the chain restricter thing( little silver box). It came with a twist throttle but it broke so i put a thumb throttle. i want it to go faster alittle more to carry atleasts 150 lbs easily through the grass. thanks in advance. It is from a shop called insane cycles so they just put there sticker on top, don't know what kind of bike it is thanks. Also want it to have better take off response.

that looks to be a cag (cagilari/daytona) engine with a CVT...
get parts from:

(daves is wayyy cheaper)

what do i look under to get upgrade parts?? is the pocket bike engines the same?? i went on the site but they only have 4stroke atvs, not the 2 stroke kind.

yup...your engine is a 47cc pocketbike engine with a CVT
then go on daves under pocketbikes
you can ask about any item you find there that you want and we can review it for you and tell you if the price is right...

and that silver box is a continuously variable transmission and you need it and it is actually better to have it kept on, and BTW, you have to put oil in it once and a while
have you been running 32:1 with synthetic 2 stroke oil?

i've been running good oil. can you help me mod it. I want the best mod for the money. Say my budget is 60 dolllars. What can i get to feel a real difference??

do the stock pipe mod (0$)...its on the sticky section...
get a dremel at the autozone store (15$)
an assortment of sandpaper (5$)

well is a Big bore kit worth it?? with maybe a bored out carb with bigger jets?

any suspension upgrades that are bolt on? better shocks, Arms?? Any lifts out there?

44mm Big-Bore Kit for '47cc' Pocketbike - $24.00

is this a good big bore kit to start with? its super cheap and i remember how to install it just like my old pocket bike, any thoughts?? or any addons to this big bore would make it better?
