need help

i got a atv 47cc i put a boosterbotle on and a reed and 14/14 carb and i cant get a idle out of it can any one help

I had the same problem, except for my quad was stock. I don't know how your carb set is like, but on the stock carb I had to take the throttle out of the carb. Inside at the bottom is gold pin. On that gold pin there is a very tiny clip, and there are a few slots for that clip on the pin. I moved that clip down one setting, allowing more fuel to the mixture, and now it idles. If moving that clip down makes it worse, than move that clip up a notch.

im gonna take a wild guess that you already tried turning the idle screw up??

yes i did up and down i hate the 14/14 carb i dont want to rejet the carb i am goin back to stock and doin a mod or two to it

no the 14/14 carb has no pin it has a slider it sucks
