Post Ex-Volt1500 (Worlds Fastest Microbike)

here is the scoop!

10 bikes will be made this year. i will sell them on Ebay mostly.

!) Customer needs GOOD protective gear to ride one of these.
Reason, it is a micro bike, very hard to get used to.

this bike is being made to promote EV pocket bike racing. With the package i ship, you will be able to race entry level racing Gas pocketbikes(60volt package). Already 3 bikes have fully been set up to ship, one has already found an owner! I must sell the 2 remaining bikes to get my shop in fully working order.

Spec chat:

Top speed: 35mph(less then 2 seconds) to over 50mph!!!!!(customer specs)
Motor: 1500watts max!(full 2hp of liner toruqe)
Voltage: 48 volt and 60 volt packages
Controler: 100amp and 200amp max packs
Weight:70-90 pounds
Run time: 30-90minutes
Charge time: 2-3hours (stock charger) /45-85minutes(fast charger)

PM me and i will give Even more info!
Also, pics and vid will be posted soon, my camra was broken in a test run a couple weeks ago!(funny story)

a cag sized Ex-Volt1500 in in the works also....
made for bigger riders but with the same specs as the MicroBike

Re: Ex-Volt1500 (Worlds Fastest Microbike)

My Ex-Volt1500 is about the same as a RazorPB200 he said.

The Ex-Volt1500 is better built though, more welds and just packed with a lot of stuff. He really did a great job on mine, it hit hard when I dumped her and not one bit of movment of anything internal.

Mike, can you paint my sons Razor the same as the Ex-Volt, i would like it to look as cool as my bike. I know your a busy man and i dont want to intrude on your time. If your answer is no, just tell me what colors to get.

You know your stuff Mike, keep up the good work!

Re: Ex-Volt1500 (Worlds Fastest Microbike)

Token, thanks for telling what a MicroBike is.
Also thanks for the help selling my other 2 bikes, i will give you somthing for that, stop by this weekend.
as for the paint, bring your son over and i will let him do the work in the paint booth, no problem. Thanx bra!

As for the question about how i get all the stuff in my bikes?
A.) If it dont fit, i re-weld untill it dose. i look at my bikes like if they were a swiss watch. A lot of pride and time goes into each of my bikes, i dont just pop some electronics in and send it out. Each bike can take up to a week to make, then it is tested and made as good as my own bike. The whole deal is to get them out to people that dont have a shop to work in or a welder to modd with, I cut out all the time for you so all you have do is open a box and ride! that is my GOAL

as soon as i can fig. out my new digy i will have pics posted

I have to wate untill i can take them out on a dry parking lot, 6-8 inch's of snow every were right now. no vid posts prior couse of my cam falling off on a high speed run a couple weeks ago. I have a new one now and am reading the instuctions as i write.... I have to make more bikes now so some fresh pics will be taken at the end of this weeks build. Update:

Update:

today, i got all the pre-fab work done.

1)The motor mount is .25" thick tool steel and will be welded to the frame!

2)The new down-tubes to accomadate the larger cells(up to 60volts no proble!) has all the bends and is mounted in place for welding.

3)All nonusable mounts for stock hardware have been cut for chopped look.

4)Controler mounts to frame under upper faring.
__________________________________________________ ________________

I was very pleased withb the work today. so much, that this bike i dont think i will sell. the newest design is even beter then the first 4 bikes. all the rest of this years bikes will get downtubes too(you have to see it to understand).

"the bike is sick looking!" Is what comes to mind right noe,
lol, i may be able to get up to 90volts into that bike if i realiy wanted to!

I saddly did not have the camra with me and i had to shut down the shop couse Rochester just got hit with a Lake-Effect that dumped 6" of snow all over.(good thing i just got new tirs and rims last week!) any ways i will take shots tomarow befor i work and will try to post even a movie on youtube about day3 infor!

last, keep up with the Ex-Volt1500Z info, as much as i dont want to give out free info, well it id my duty to all you EVPB owner and builders.

info:
1) time invested about 5 hours total(other people may take up to 4-10 hours) to get this far
2) money into RazorPB200 frame($150 it self) about $18 for Steel tube and .25"plate
3)tools: grinder, plasma cutter, heavy drill, thread tapper set, big hammerr, SawZaw, tubular bender, and general tool box tools of course!

Token,
you and your freinds come back and let me have the bikes and i will do the downtube modd to them too, it sets the gells cells all up front. I dont know how much it will better handling but it would be a good idea and i wont charge you guys.(it is about $80-120 in time amd steel, you get for free!!!!!!)
I owe you guys for pushing me to build all that i could in the time i could, for that thanks.......

Thats cool man, thanks

I will tell da boys to stop in as well.
Mike, you know how to make people happy. It is cool that you want to put all the new stuff in the bikes you already sold for free for us, your not only bike builder but a true friend to any one that deals with you!

Also do you have any smaller controlers for sale? I would like to lower take off times a bit to make the bike better for small areas. The controler in it right now makes the front tire bump a bit so it is harder to stear on ecceleration. This is not a complaint but simply a tuning thing to kinda retard the perfomance a little.

Thanks Mike

Re: Ex-Volt1500 (Worlds Fastest Microbike)

update (day 5)

bike needed to be reworked a bit, i had to move the lower frame a bit mor twords the front tire, i hope the frame wont rub at high speeds( .25-.375 of space left)....but now the bike is ready for fast cell pack swaps for just plain racing concepts, you see i wont charg the bike at the track. I will have maby 4-5 extra 48volt battery packs to just drop into the bike, that way if i am in a jam and have no time to spare i wont have to worry about charge times at all!

all you need to do is remove the lower faring and undo the retaining strap and disconect the battery from the bike, swap and back to racing...i have not done it yet but it should work out in less then 2-5 minutes if you in a

hurry.YouTube - day5
