rewinding a motor is not easy... remember the more coils you add the more torque but less rpms../ the less coils you get more rpms but less torque......got a site on it if you want it pm me

i know how to wind my own motors, i raced durty when in RC electric...i would rewind my motors by cutting 2-4 winds off......lol no one ever knew why my lap times were so low

but in this case i will completly rewind with larger gage wire with a couple less winds....

should up watts and improve rpm....

"My sister-in law is from Oklahoma and has a slight accent. She has cats and when she lived in the south she would take them to the groomers and have what is called a Line Cut. To her a line cut is when all of the fur hanging down below the cat's tummy is taken off (because it gets matted or snarled). When she moved to Chicago with my brother, one of the cats fur got all tangled up during the move so she took it in for a line cut. She was quite surprised when she heard the price as it was twice as much as it was down south. i made a 12v charging plug so that the controllers pug is set at 36v and the charger plug is set on 12 volts

the charger i found at w-mart for almost half price
it is a acid cell peek chager and has a setting for gell cells, wich is very good....i will use the 2amp setting

aslo a pic of my rs4-2 it has flip flop paint on it and it will do over 85mph as is right now



as for the blur in all of my pics that is becouse i did not get to use my cam. i had to use my moms, she got it at a food store,oh ya dont buy electronics at food stores, it said it was a 6meg pix camra but i say it is junk

it is great that there is a regulations on the 4stroke bikes now when they are shipped in from over seas, maby this will hinder all the people that dont need to get a cheep fancy bike that goes way to fast for a newbie.....if people would have not gotten hurt as muchas they did with them cheap daytonas and other bikes that cost less then 400$
and then let there kid drive them on the streets of LA and get killed.

i did it today i think i hit 30mph

i just got the mx500 controler in the mail and hooked it up

bike is crazy fast, way more torque, i think every one that has a razor should do this mod

all it takes is an extra 12v7aH gell cell and a RazorMx500 controler, simple simple simple

today i found out that 30mph is too much for stock tire
when you stop at those speeds it kills the tire

i put a dolly 4" tire on it for a temp spare
it is a nylon compount and it is very soft, 9$

as for the extra 12volts, i did not give it full throtle at first but now i hold it wide open, i only get ten min of run time though but it is shure fun!!!!!

i will be picking up a speedo today, mounting it tomaro


oh ya there is a shortage of razor 4" tires and wheel sets at Razorama, this is why i had to use a dollie tire,dont say anything bad it is a great tire and i did not have to wait a week for it to come in the mail. it just has a corser tread to it then the razor tires...........

bike is still running great, 2nd run now on new tires
feels almost smooth

have to get to work, maby a run later at lunch

this weekend is all about rain and some dry time, as for that dry time....i want the bike ready forthem all....
wet roads suck,couse i dont know about you guys but falling on a dry road is better then a wet one.....

i think i will be able to ride at least 6 times this weekend

UPDATE:

the final build will be:

1)stock frame (some extra welds hear and there for extra suport...but i wana keep it simple...this build should be somthing any one can do)

2)a simple 40amp 48v controler(low cost, about 45$)

3) 350w,36v motor(as aproldan said to me befor the extra 12 volts should give 800rpm for top end)cost 20-30$

4) new wheels with new rubber, a disk brake assembly should be added too, cost 85-150$


i have come up with this plan couse i have set my eyes on the C1ev project. i kinda want the razor done to move on to better things

as of the end of next month i will work on the plans to make the bike, so to post on a new thread. this should help a lot of people out

the 36v controler added a hell of a lot of top end, i was totaly sold to this hobby when i hit the white knucle speeds for the first time with that controler, it is so fast now!
i want go faster though!
