I have silver, everytime u fall and it gets scrached it shows dramatically!

I was really tempted to paint my bike two different colors, but not 2tone, actually mask off one whole side and paint it one color like lime green then paint the other side yellow, so from each side it looks totally different.
I reckon it would work on a proper bike because it wouldn't be so obvious on the tank but i'm not sure if I could get away with it on a little bike, might look stupid if it wasn't done right, I think I saw a F1 team with it, blue and red maybe???
