how to paint rims?

I am going to paint my rims black and I was wondering what steps I should follow and what paint to use in order to achieve the best looking rims. thanks

if you can take the tires off the rim make sure you clean the rims of dirt and grease...then make sure you put a couple coats of good primer on them then use a good semi gloss or gloss black depending on what yu want them to look like...make sure if you dismantle the rims not to get paint inside where the bearings go.........
