Rims

Hey I have an x19 and I was just wondering what I should do before painting the rims and what kind of paint to use. thanks

I'd like to do this as well a know there are several people here who have done this... I was thinking about getting a powder coater from eBay. I've seen several parts done on a buddies vehicle like the alternator, block parts, etc. I was like man, I bet your alternator is the size of the engine on my cag. I think thats the route I'm gonna go!

other than powder coating i find that engine enamel is a good cheap easy to find alternative. It will stick to metal with very little prepping.
