Re: STREETFIGHTER. Has it been done? It will now!!

well this started as a toy but i cant leave well enough alone. lol I spent 3 years building my R6, but when it was done... man it was sexy!! But like you said, A LOT of time and money!!

We'll see how it goes. I called the guy with that w/c engine and its already gone. Too bad, so sad. So then I read the review on the ADA 44mm head kit, and all the other ADA goodies, sounds like an interesting direction to take it. Just have to figure out what to do with the chassis.

You know any one selling a new front end (forks and yokes only, maybe a dual disc setup) that I can grab?

I was testing my bike yesterday and I am getting more comfortable with the handling, so after pushing it hard, I took a break and notice that the front end had actually twisted!! Need a solution for that on!!

Schemo - I'm working on it, trying to figure a clean way to mount it. Sure i could use the existing mounts, but thats too easy and looks like i just used the existing mounts, see my dilema??

av got the bottom piece ov the fairing just looking at ways you could cut the origanal mounts off and mount diff so it looks neat plus dont want it looking to big cos it will look strange without a rad like the watercooled bikes,,,,,oo theres an idea lol

Re: STREETFIGHTER. Has it been done? It will now!!

thats the same problem i have with the belly pan, its kinda too big to mount without the rest of the fairings, I think it will look a lil strange also. As far as the mount goes, I have that figured out, just weld what you need to the engine plate, or similar area, so the mount is un seen, but again, the lowers on the cag are a lil large, it will be done tho....with a hack here and a hack there!! lol

Let me know how you make out Tusker!! Good luck.

BTW where did you get that first head kit? I love the billet, thats why I will pay a bit more for the ADA.

Eres a pic of my cag fighter. Not got around to doing the paint yet, but as I do airbrushing for a living that shouldnt be a problem.

Been too busy pulling wheelies, and general arsing about.
