Exclamation Warning about Neons and Cold Cathodes

Be very careful. They are like those house lights with the tube that go on the ceiling. Florensic Light is it?

My cold cathodes broke! I was riding on a bumpy surface, and my neons are always sealed good. I look back, inside of the tube is all cracked into like glass.

Careful installing these on cags because of the 2 stroke loudness and vibration, it may cause some damage.

Re: Warning about Neons and Cold Cathodes

Yeah, I actually want the same thing. I was thinking about buying PC LED's, and rewireing it to work on a off-on switch powered by a 2 AA batteries. Not excally sure how i would do that, but i have a few friends who are smart.

Re: Warning about Neons and Cold Cathodes

you could put in a altinator to power the lights and the put a bunch of capacitors with it so it doesn't dim and brighten when you twist the throttle
