Re: for all Atlanta and surrounding area riders/racers

Hey,
I live in the Atl area and want to attend. I don't currently have a bike. but plan on getting one soon since I now know you guys are out there. I'm a complete rookie with "zero" experience on or around motorcycles. That being said.. any recommendations for my first pocket bike? I'm 5'10" 200lbs. Thanks.

start off cheap so if you reck it not a big lose and part are cheap for most of the smaller bikes. Then if you love the sport start building up or save some bucks and get a real nice bike.Oh and I will be bringing a extra bike it is for sale but you can drive it around see how you like the cags.

Ico,
Most of us have the small cag's or MTA1 and MTA2, There around $169.00 to $235.00 new. I'm 6'00" and 200lbs. and I ride them fine. You can also get a X bike (2 or 4 stroke) they run fast but have to realy slow down in the turns. I personaly like the small bikes for there cheap mods and alot of parts. I have a MX3 (MTA2) and my son has a half faring Cag daytona (MTA1). There a blast. MINIMOTOALT. will post the time and date shortly.

See yah at the races.

Re: for all Atlanta and surrounding area riders/racers

I finished my MX3 ADA 44mm headkit today. I must say after seated the rings, The bike pulls hard up top. You can feel that fat boy pipe up around 8000rpm and up. I finaly settled with a 70 jet. It seems to be slightly rich but better then slightly lean so Ill stick with that. Also my stock gearing is 7:68 so im going to go to a 6:68 this friday. The bike pulled up a hill that before the bike would stay at one speed and could not accerate. I'm very happy with the ADA mod. Now for a ADA reed cage .....

Re: for all Atlanta and surrounding area riders/racers

do you already have fiberglass reeds or some carbon fiber in the stock location? I,m not sure if the money I spent on the ada reed cage is worth it!!

Re: for all Atlanta and surrounding area riders/racers

I have the black magic carbon fiber reed in place now. There is no high RPM fluter like the stock reed did at top speed. At top end its as smooth as silk. I also ported my Carb and Int. manifold, gasket to 9/16ths.
